The Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation, Inc was founded in 2005 by the Adjutant General of Vermont as a private, nonprofit organization which is funded solely by charitable donations. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide goods, services, and funds for the support of the members and families within the Vermont National Guard. The demands on the members of the Vermont National Guard have increased significantly since September 11, 2001 and the ongoing Global War on Terrorism. The Foundation has been there for our families during their time of need through the distribution of funds to appropriate and deserving families without obligation of repayment. The Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation is proud of the contribution that it makes to our military families and is very proud to be associated with Revision Eyewear as we work together to construct the Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes Memorial.
Mr. Steven Cray, President of the Foundation issued the following statement regarding the memorial:
“It is the Foundation's distinct honor to be part of commissioning a memorial to recognize the ultimate sacrifice of our fellow Vermont Guardsmen. In keeping with our mission to help the men and women of the Vermont National Guard and their families, this memorial will be a symbol of the strength and commitment of our Guard family.”
The Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit private organization (Tax ID Number 84-1670925). Contributions are tax deductible under applicable laws.
